OH HI!!! WELCOME TO THE STP BLOG! I'M SARA AND I AM WEDDING AND PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN UPSTATE SC. GRAB A SWEET TEA AND ENJOY YOUR VISIT !
Making a difference and loving those in need are incredibly important to who I am and why I do what I do. I have found that sharing my heart with clients is essential to my brides and grooms! So I’ve combined my passion for helping those in need with my photography business!
I love photography, and preserving memories of your love and life for yourself and your children is incredibly important. I am passionate and excited about my work, which brings me so much joy. As a photographer, I look through my lens, see who you are, and decide which moments to preserve. It is an exciting and fulfilling career. However, I am much more than just a photographer. I was placed on this planet to love God and to love others. God has stirred in my heart an intense desire to help orphans locally and abroad over the years, and I have been praying about channeling this passion into my business.
When you book your wedding with me, you are not only getting a photographer who is passionate about documenting your special day in a way that best showcases the love you share with your significant other, but you are also sponsoring a little boy or girl from Uganda for six months!
15% of weddings will sponsor an orphan from the Moriah Children’s Home in Uganda, Africa. This sponsorship program was started by my sweet mother a couple of years ago when she visited the orphanage, and the children were not eating daily. The sponsorship is part of the wedding package cost, not something extra. The 15%, which comes to about $360 for my medium package, will feed the child good nutritional food and pay for his or her education for six months. After your wedding, I will send you the bio and picture of the child you would sponsor. If you choose to continue sponsoring your child after six months, just let me know, and I’ll set you up.
How great would it be to have one of your first financial decisions as a couple to be educating and feeding orphans!? Natraj and I began sponsoring a child together while we were dating. It felt good to know we were helping give a child a chance.
I aim to book as many couples as possible in 2017 to cover the last unsponsored children at the Moriah Children’s Home. It is a lofty goal, but I am excited to see what God will do.
Friends, would you help me by sharing my vision with your friends and family, especially those soon to be married?
Warmly,
Sara
