5 reasons a wedding planner can save your sanity…

Hi, Bride! Congrats on your engagement! Are you all knee-deep into wedding planning? Have you read lots and lots of lists online that are leaving you more overwhelmed than you started? I know I am a wedding planner so this may seem like a no-brainer for me, but I really want to show you why hiring a wedding planner can help save your sanity and help you enjoy this special season of your life.

1. We’ve done this before

Have you asked yourself “where do I start? when it comes to planning your wedding? I totally understand that! There are so many lists and blogs online that will try to tell you what to do but it can still feel pretty daunting. Here’s the good news – we wedding planners have done this before! The lingo and the timelines don’t shock or overwhelm us! We can guide you every step of the way and deal with the nitty-gritty details so you don’t have to.

2. We’ve got the tools to save you from planning headaches

Trying to sort out your guest list for your shower hosts? We’ve got tools for that! Trying to place where all the tables are going to be and who is sitting where? We’ve got tools for that! Keeping track of the vendors, their contracts, payments, and timelines? You guessed it – we’ve got tools for that as well. Using our tools and planning software, we can keep all of your special details organized

 and in safe place. I personally use Aisle Planner with my brides and it allows everyone to see where we are in the planning process and how the budget is looking. You can even make your wedding website on Aisle Planner and track your RSVPs.

3.We’re your sounding board

This is your wedding day. Whether you’ve been dreaming about it for years or just started thinking about it when the ring was put on your finger, this is your day. We want to be on your team and create the vision you dream about for your wedding day. Tensions running a bit high with your fiance, mom, mother-in-law, or bridesmaids? Call us! We are there to talk through the situation and can step in to help smooth over some of those sticky situations.

4. “Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing, baby”

A wedding planner is there to make sure your vision comes to life on your wedding day. We will make sure vendors arrive and set up on time, coordinate with your photographers/videographers to make sure they’ve got the time they need to capture every detail. We will send your bridal party down the aisle and get your guests all lined up for your grand exit. We truly don’t want you to worry about a thing! I will connect with the Maid of Honor and Best Man to be my go-tos on the wedding day so if there is an issue (and honestly, there most likely will be at least one, but that is OK!) we can get it handled appropriately.

5. We love planning weddings

This kind of goes into number 1, but this is something we love doing. There may be some things that stress us out, but most of the wedding planners I know thrive off of the creativity we get to have with our weddings. We know what issues to anticipate and how to make your day run like clockwork. I assisted with a wedding affected by Hurricane Florence this past fall, but because everyone hired was a true professional, everything went off without a hitch the day before the wedding was originally scheduled.
