Hello!!! I know it has been a few weeks since I’ve blogged. In the past couple of weeks, I took a fall that limited my use of my dominant hand for a couple of weeks; my sister had a baby in Africa, I started grad school, and my dad had a massive heart attack. Wheww when I write it all out, it looks like how it feels.

However, today I am typing with my dominant hand; we have a healthy baby in the family, my dad is recovering well, and I completed all my grad school work for the week in one afternoon, so I’m good. Thank you to the many who have checked in on me and offered to do anything to help. You are much loved!

Featured on the blog today are Dustin and Brooke. This super sweet couple had their wedding initially planned for April, but then Covid-19 happened, and their wedding was postponed. However, in the unknown, they knew they wanted to be together forever and were ready to tie the knot. After weeks of quarantine, Brooke contacted me and told me they wanted to elope and have their big wedding when all the people they love could be in one place. I think that is just lovely and was all in!

I love these photos and how emotional Dustin became reading his vows. It doesn’t matter when or where you make your promises; they are heavy and moving. This gorgeous spot overlooks the lake, and you can see the mountains. I thought it was funny how people would paddle board by and then realize they were right behind a ceremony, and then they would motion to each other to move faster not to interrupt. You never know these days when you’re going to stumble into a wedding! This pandemic has made elopements and micro-weddings all the rage!
