Happy Wedding Wednesday!!! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas day with your favorite people! I know last night when I got on Instagram I saw A LOT of engagement rings! If you got engaged yesterday, I just want to say Congratulations!!!!

 

 

Featured on the blog today is Michael + Elaria’s downtown Charlotte engagement session. I really like this couple and enjoyed spending a couple hours getting to know them better. Elaria is kind, absolutely stunning, and I LOVE her style. Michael is hysterical and had me laughing until I cried. Together they are just really fun! We started at St. Peter’s Catholic Church and then we walked to the Epicentre.

 

These two have such a fun story, and it all started with a desire to be healthy. They met online when Michael’s sweet sister added her friend Elaria to their fitbit group. They immediately hit it off! Soon they were dating and it didn’t take Michael very long to know she was the one. These two are now planning their summer wedding in Greenville SC! I’m so looking forward to photographing their big day! These two are very excited to get married especially because they have had to do the long distance relationship thing. I asked Elaria what they did to stay connected over the distance and she told me how they go to the grocery store together while on the phone together. She is a nutritionist and he is a doctor, so they are both pretty passionate about health. It is super cute that they shop together although multiple states apart.On their first date they went to the Epicentre in Charlotte and saw the movie Minions. Now as a long distance date night option, they will go to the same movie at the same time and then talk about it after. So romantic!!! We ended up taking a few photos at the theater where they went on their FIRST date!

WEDDING WEDNESDAY ADVICE: If you are in a long distance relationship, find activities you both enjoy and find a way to do it together. Although you’re far apart, you can still do life together!
