Greenville SC Maternity Photos: I met these two NYE years ago. I then shot their engagement, her bridals and boudoir, wedding, anniversaries, and now maternity photos!

I love love love being a people’s life photographer. Sometimes I leave these shoots with my heart feeling like it is going to burst because I’m so happy for these sweet people. They cease to be just clients and become friends. I feel more and more invested in their lives as I document it.

Tips for Maternity Shoots:

1. Dresses that show your belly but also flatter the rest of your body.
2. Have your partner dress up to the same level as you. No pretty dress and then him in a t-shirt and shorts. Dress casual or dressy, but be on the same page together.
3. Bring the fur baby!
4. Props – signs, photos, etc.
5. Build in extra time to get ready and to drive to the location. Nothing is worse than showing up to smile and take photos but fighting with your partner. Give yourselves extra time to enjoy the process.
6. Plan a date after your shoot. You’re looking good, enjoy it!
