Featured on the blog today is David + Lisa. I got to know this couple last year in California when my friend Holly got married. Lisa and I were both bridesmaids and I was instantly in love with this girl! She is well traveled, knows multiple languages, is glamorous, and so much fun. David is such a good time as well and the manliest romantic guy I have ever met. There is no question that he is deeply in love with Lisa. During their rainy engagement session, I learned that David designed Lisa’s engagement ring (and did an INCREDIBLE job!) and he is planning most of their wedding because Lisa is in her last semester of nursing school. I am just so impressed with this couple and how passionately they love each other. I am so excited that after four years that they are finally tying the knot!
Eddy + Stacy were married on July 17, 2018 at The Reserve on Lake Keowee. These two live in Tulsa OK, and met while playing ultimate Frisbee. These two love Jesus, the outdoors, good food, and their families. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know them during their engagement session. These two jumped in the water during their engagement session. They are just so much fun!
Featured on the blog today is Brent and Colleen. These two were married at Ivy Hall in Atlanta on May 19th, 2018. If you recall, this is also the day of Prince Harry’s wedding to Megan Markle. I think it is really fun to share a royal anniversary! Brent is a friend of mine from my Clemson days and he is actually the one who introduced me to my husband! Brent is such a kind and fun person and I was so glad when he found the love of his life in Colleen. I did not meet Colleen until their engagement session, which you can view HERE, but she is absolutely lovely, smart, and beautiful. I greatly enjoyed getting to know her this year!
Today I am sharing one of my favorite weddings of all time! This wedding was unique and special for many reasons. 1. This was a destination wedding! 2. It was on a yacht at sunset! 3. The bride is one of my childhood best friends! 4. This couple is certainly meant to be!
Chris + Callie were married on June 9th, 2018 in Tampa, FL aboard the Starship II. They got ready with their bridal party at the Westin Hotel and had their first look on the edge of the bay. Callie’s choices for her wedding were incredible and although they had an amazing destination wedding…
Featured on the blog today is Cory + Megan’s DuPont Forest engagement session at the Triple Falls . This sweet couple took their first photo together at this very fall! I thought it was sweet that they drove multiple hours just to have their photos taken here again. They could not have chosen a more beautiful location! Just the power of the water as it comes over the rocks paired with the quiet of the woods, it was just perfect!
Featured on the blog today is Evan and Kayla. These lovebirds are getting married in Greenville next summer. What brought these two together? Family Vacation!
I’m so excited to share a different kind of engagement session on the blog today! Featured today are Andy and Brianna. These two fell in love when they were in high school at Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC. He played football and she was a cheerleader, but they fell in love in drama class. Super cute!
Today Is My 3rd Business Anniversary!!!! 3 years ago today, I walked out of the high school classroom to pursue my dream as a photographer. Going from a steady paycheck to the unknown was and is scary. Most businesses fold within three years, so this is a BIG deal! I am really proud of this milestone.
Featured on the blog today is Kyle and Chloe’s Gassaway Mansion Wedding! Located right outside of downtown Greenville it looks like a castle poking out of the trees as you drive down E. North Street. The event was absolutely gorgeous! This sweet couple was married on May 28th, 2018 and they chose this date because it was their 7 year anniversary! I love shooting weddings of couples that have been together for a long time because they really know each other so well. There is a depth when they say their vows. They know the person they are looking at isn’t perfect, and yet they still choose to live a life together. It is just a little extra special.
Featured on the blog today is Colleen’s bridal session. Brent and Colleen were married this past weekend at Ivy Hall in Atlanta, GA! Now that they are married, I can FINALLY share Colleen’s bridal session!!!! Since she knew we would do photos at the venue on her wedding day, she wanted to choose another location in Atlanta for her bridals. She chose Piedmont Park in Atlanta. The park is absolutely gorgeous and right in the heart of the city. In fact, you can see the Atlanta skyline from most locations in the park.
