Today the Clemson Tigers take on Alabama in the National Championship!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!

I am so excited for them! I am a Clemson University Alumna and I also met and married my husband in Clemson. Clemson is near and dear to my heart. This blog post is in honor of our soon-to-be natty winners!

If you love Clemson and are wondering ways to incorporate your deep love of the tigers into your wedding, I have quite a few ideas for you!

1. A T T I R E

When choosing your attire you want to keep your theme subtle and classy. Some ways you could show your love for the tigers is by having orange or purple dresses for your bridesmaids that coordinate with the shirts, ties, and pocket squares of your groomsmen. You can also have socks, underwear, or garters if your colors clash with orange and purple.

In this wedding, the groom chose for his groomsmen to wear purple ties and orange pocket squares to show his love for Clemson.

 

 

2. F L O R A L S

Another way is to use floral arrangements to show love for your favorite team. Purple flowers with an orange ribbon wrapped around the bouquet or a mixture of the colors in your bouquet and boutonnieres. The same couple decided to keep the Clemson theme subtle and just chose to have purple flowers. It is lovely!

3. C A K E

Decorating your cake in your favorite orange and purple is an option; However, if the colors clash with your theme, you could always just have your groom’s cake be a Clemson cake. No one expects the groom’s cake to stay on theme. Have fun!

4. R E H E A R S A L   D I N N E R   +   G R O U P   P H O T O S

Another option is to go all out and have a Clemson themed rehearsal dinner. That way you are able to include your favorite team in your wedding celebrations but not have to clash with your wedding day colors.

Also group photos of Clemson alumni or fans of Clemson with a big flag is a fun way to document your love with people who share it.

5. I N V I T E   T H E   T I G E R

Lastly, you can invite the Clemson Tiger to your wedding! He is booked up quick so be sure to book him in advance. Having the tiger at your wedding reception always gets people excited.

Whatever you do, be sure to infuse yourself and your shared passions into your wedding day.
