Romantic Bleckley Inn Wedding | Craig + Jennifer
I’m so excited to share today’s featured wedding with you for a few reasons:
1. The Bleckley Inn is absolutely stunning.
2. I had the opportunity to work with multiple vendor friends who did amazing jobs.
3. Craig and Jennifer are crazy in love and absolutely precious.
How They Met
Craig and Jennifer met at Viva Wine Bar in downtown Anderson a couple years ago. He was in town for a wedding the next night, and after the rehearsal went out to Viva. He was sitting at the bar next to two pretty ladies, and when he locked eyes with one of them he was so drawn to her and she to him. They chatted for hours. The next night he was at the wedding and was shocked to see her. What he didn’t know is that she worked at the Bleckley. It felt like fate and this adorable town was bringing them together.
Fast forward a couple years, and they tie the knot themselves in that same place where they met and fell for each other! You can see their engagement session in downtown Anderson HERE.
Wedding Day
Craig and Jennifer were married on September 5th, 2019. Their day was absolutely perfect! It was such a beautiful and romantic affair. They served chocolates and champagne as their guests arrived for their ceremony in the beautiful courtyard. The breeze was blowing and it was comfortable although it is still summer in the south. Craig looked so handsome in his tux as he walked in with his father and the reverend. Jennifer walked in on her father and son’s arms to be given away. She was breathtaking! Their ceremony was shorty and sweet, and after they walked out of the courtyard they embraced for a long time. They were just so full of joy to finally be married.
Their reception was beautiful and the food was incredible! It was a relaxed party with their friends and family mingling with each other and having a great time. The most emotional moment of the evening is when Jennifer’s adult son asked Blake, the DJ if he could make a dedication to Craig. He asked for the song “He Didn’t Have To Be” by Brad Paisley. If you don’t know the song, it is a story from the son’s point of view about how he hopes to be half the dad his stepfather has been to him. I think that was the only time I saw Jennifer cry the whole day. It was an incredibly sweet moment. The evening ended with lots of dancing. Craig’s father is a wonderful dancer and adventurous soul. He was teaching and learning lines dances, it was just really fun. I even got in on some of it! I hope you enjoy scrolling through this incredible day!
