Chris and Bethany were married at Grace Church Downtown on November 18th, 2017. Thei ceremony was absolutely beautiful! The pastor clearly knew them very well and gave really amazing advice on how to succeed at marriage. Bethany looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and Chris rocked his tuxedo. They were both so nervous until they saw each other during their first look. Chris had the sweetest smile when he turned and saw Bethany in her wedding dress.
For their engagement we wandered the streets of Charleston and stopped at the Mill House first. We went right to the spot that Adam asked Katelyn to be his wife. Then we walked down the street to the restaurant that Adam took her on their first date and the night he proposed, 85 Queen. I love how sentimental this couple is. They are super romantic!
Thomas and Christa were married November 4th, 2017 at Grace Church Downtown. Friends and family surrounded them as they promised forever to each other. These two have been together for what seemed forever. They started dating in high school when Thomas was a senior and Christa was a junior. Everyone was thrilled to see them finally tie the knot! Grace Church Downtown is such a beautiful venue. It is a historically protected building in Greenville and was the home of First Baptist Church for many years.
Although freezing cold, these two did a good job of looking warm and comfy. We walked around downtown Greenville SC for their session. We loved finding the last few trees with pretty colors on them. I really enjoyed how although it has only been five years they have been together, it feels as if they have been together for decades. I have no doubt these two are going to have a long loving marriage. It was my honor to photograph their love. I hope you enjoy scrolling through this sweet couple’s photos! Congratulations Brent + Colleen!
Featured on the blog today is Bethany. I am so happy for Bethany and her now husband, Chris as they are on their way to their honeymoon! Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. King! I am so happy to share Bethany’s bridal session we did last month at the beautiful Hotel Domestique.
There are so many beautiful places in the upstate, but one of my very favorites is Duncan Estate in Spartanburg SC. This beautiful historic home is a piece of southern charm and history. Both the inside and outside are elegant and perfect! I love every occasion I have to shoot at this gorgeous venue. Today on the blog is featured Christa. This lady was a joy to photograph.
I almost called off my wedding. Seriously, I was very ready to just not have the big wedding and let signing the marriage license be it. It wasn’t because I hadn’t dreamed of my wedding day since I was four…because I had. It wasn’t because I had not had time to look through every bridal magazine or create multiple inspiration boards on Pinterest…because I had. It wasn’t because I wasn’t in love with my fiancé…because I sure as heck was not letting him get away. I almost called off my wedding because I could not find a wedding dress.
