Downtown Greenville SC Engagement: Featured on the blog today are Dave and Bridget. They are a fun-loving couple that have a great love story.

Dave and Bridget met about three and a half years ago in a pub in Scotland. Bridget was in Scotland for a girl’s trip, and he was in Scotland for a tug-of-war competition. Yes, I said tug of war. Dave is from Wales and travels internationally to be in tug-of-war competitions. Dave’s friends started talking to Bridget’s friends, and the next thing you know, they find themselves by a fireplace alone together. There was an immediate connection, and they fell in love. I know it sounds like the movie P.S. I LOVE YOU, but it is totally real, I promise.

For the next three and a half years, they have a long-distance relationship as Bridget is from Greenville, SC. However, Dave popped the question last year, and these two are getting married!

THE WEDDING

They were tying the knot in Falls Park in 2020. They are so fun together and enjoy being silly and enjoying life, which is one of the foundational blocks of a long-lasting marriage.
