I am so excited to be sharing Maddie’s bridals! Last night she married the love of her life in a beautiful ceremony at The Ryan Nicholas Inn in Simpsonville SC.  Today I am sharing her bridals that were taken at the same location. This lady is beautiful both inside and out. She is just so cheerful all time! I absolutely loved getting to know her, her sweet mother, and great friend Jordan better during her session. I hope you enjoy!

What is better than a silly AND romantic couple? LITERALLY NOTHING! Those are the couples that are my favorite to photograph. Today on the blog is featured Merry Ellen and Walt. They are one of my favorite couples of all time.! I have been friends with them since college before they were ever dating each other and was an honorary bridesmaid in their wedding. Although a few years younger than me, I have always felt like they were wise beyond their years. They are kindred spirits and great friends.  Walt is an environmental engineer and he can fix just about anything and Merry Ellen is in med school and is absolutely brilliant. They are wonderful and kind people separately, but together they are a total power couple.

A First look seems to be a trend that is not going away, and I am so happy because there are soooo many benefits!!! Benefits such as: a private time with your soon-to-be spouse before the craziness of the day (it is sweet and relieves nerves), you get to spend more of your day with the one you love the most, more time with your guests (because you don’t have to make them wait after the wedding to see you), it helps with the flow of the day so much, and you get MORE photos….like a lot more!  I will do a whole blog about that later.

Today Natraj and I are celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary!

Our wedding day was the best day of my life. I had been planning my wedding since Pinterest started. I put in hundreds of hours planning and absolutely loved it. Other than being limited on our guest list because of our location and struggling to find my wedding dress for a bit, the planning process is the most fun I have ever had. Our wedding day was perfect in every way.  A year later and I am still in awe over how well our wedding day turned out!

Some of my favorite things about our wedding day:

– I had a white fur coat!

– We were married in a church that was over 200 years old!

– Bollywood dancing happened!

– Natraj dropped jokes in his vows!

-We were able to have a wedding that normally would have cost $20,000 for less than $10,000

– All our favorite people were present

I am excited to share this sweet couple’s engagement photos on the blog today. A couple of years ago Matthew and Cassidy met at the Smoking Pig in Williamston where they were both working part-time. They were friends first but then all their co-workers started talking about how they would make a great couple. They gave it a try…and now they are getting married next winter! Matthew said he was drawn initially to Cassidy because of her vibrant personality and how she was such a good friend to others.  Cassidy loved spending time with Matthew and loved how he was mature and a godly guy.
