Lisa was just so happy all day and I never saw her stop smiling. She was so happy as she got ready with her bridesmaids. It made my heart happy to be around this loving and fun group of women who were absolutely STUNNING in their gold dresses! However, I feel like it is always fun and relaxing when Lisa is around, she just has that affect on people. In fact, it may have been the most relaxed wedding of my career! David is a strong powerful man, but he is so tender and kind when it comes to Lisa. They are just right together.  Props to David who took on planning a majority of the wedding because Lisa was finishing up her degree and starting a new job. They are already working together as a dream team! I just like this couple so much and I was honored to photograph their big day.

A couple of things that were a first for me:

1. Apparently in NC, the bride and groom do not sign the marriage license. Only the the two witnesses. See photos below.

2. After the first dance and father/daughter dance, the father of the bride gave her a foot rub. Seriously, SO CUTE!!!

3. There was a bar in the venue and the bride and groom…well, just scroll to see.

Shout out to my favorite hubby, Natraj. He traveled and worked with me all day. I always miss him when I’m shooting weddings, so I was thrilled to death to have my favorite person by my side all day.
