Joel and Christina’s engagement session was at Devils Fork State Park. Christina contacted me a couple of months ago just a couple days after Joel proposed to her. Her soon-to-be sister in-law Katie had told her she had to call me. I just have to say that there is no greater compliment than when a previous client recommends his or her family and friends!!! This session was so much fun and I had the hardest time narrowing down my favorites. I wanted to post ALL of their photos.

Joel + Christina met at Liberty Tap Room in downtown Greenville, SC. Joel told me that as soon as he saw her that he knew (I love that!). There was never really a question of if but when they would get married. It took Christina only a couple of dates to be convinced as well.  They have now been together a year and some change, and are planning their wedding for late summer next year. 

This couple needed very little coaching in their session as they are so deeply in love and naturally show expressions of happiness, excitement, and warmth. I especially loved playing my genuine posing game with them. Christina is so in love with life that she just throws her head back and laughs so hard. She has the sweetest personality and is just a joy to be with. When I asked Christina what she liked best about Joel she couldn’t narrow her answer down because she said she loves everything about him (that made my heart melt). Joel would try not to smile for photos but could last little more than a few seconds. I just love how happy this couple is together. I asked Joel to show me what it would look like to protect her and care for her the rest of his life and he just pulled her into his big arms and kissed her so deeply. I was moved by how passionately Joel loves her.
