Featured on the blog today is Adam + Katelyn’s wedding! They were married at East Cooper Baptist Church in Charleston SC on April 21st. Their reception was at the incredibly beautiful Mill House Hotel in downtown Charleston SC. I absolutely loved meeting this fun couple during their engagement photo session (You can see those photos HERE).  Adam and Katelyn’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. You could not have asked God for more perfect weather! Katelyn looked absolutely stunning in her dress and her beautiful naturally wavy hair. The bridesmaid’s wore beautiful emerald green dresses that were bold and complemented Katelyn’s tropical theme. Adam and his groomsmen wore grey suits with green ties. During the couple’s first look they exchanged gifts.  Adam looked like he was going to cry when he opened his gift, it was an electric guitar autographed by his favorite band! Their ceremony was in the new sanctuary at the church and it has so much natural light. I just love the feel of the whole room!

Their reception was amazing and these two danced for hours! At the end of the night the entire dance floor crowded around them for an enormous group hug! It was really sweet. They exited out the garden to the waving of many glow sticks! I think my highlight of the night was the wedding cake! Katelyn has food allergies so her cake was free of gluten, dairy, and eggs! Even without all those ingredients, it was the best cake!!!! I hope you enjoy scrolling through Adam + Katelyn’s wedding day. It was one for the books and I wish them the very best!
