Today on the blog is the beautiful wedding of Shaun and Maddie. They were married March 3, 2018 at The Ryan Nicholas Inn in Simpsonville. These two have known each other since K-5 and have been friends as long as they can remember. They were in the same friend group but it wasn’t until college that these two got together.
Featured on the blog todays are the lovebirds Nathaniel and Becca! They are middle/high school sweethearts and have basically known from the moment they met that one-day they would get married. They were married Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Nicholson-Mitchell Christian Ministry Center located on Southern Wesleyan’s college campus. Their reception was held at the ALIVE Wesleyan Church nearby.
A First look seems to be a trend that is not going away, and I am so happy because there are soooo many benefits!!! Benefits such as: a private time with your soon-to-be spouse before the craziness of the day (it is sweet and relieves nerves), you get to spend more of your day with the one you love the most, more time with your guests (because you don’t have to make them wait after the wedding to see you), it helps with the flow of the day so much, and you get MORE photos….like a lot more! I will do a whole blog about that later.
Matt + Katie were married on December 16, 2017 at the Upcountry History Museum in Greenville, SC. I have been looking forward to this wedding all year! This couple is truly radiant and wonderful. They are the perfect balance to each other and enjoy each other so much. They are each others biggest fan and have been together for years, but you would think that they had just fallen in love! This couple is incredibly romantic and they everything was perfect. I have never seen a happier couple in all my life.
Featured today is the gorgeous bride, Katie! She is a total goddess and I am thrilled to death to be able to finally share her beautiful bridal photos that were taken last month. Katie is one of the most radiant people I have ever met and being her wedding photographer has been one of the highlights of my year.
Chris and Bethany were married at Grace Church Downtown on November 18th, 2017. Thei ceremony was absolutely beautiful! The pastor clearly knew them very well and gave really amazing advice on how to succeed at marriage. Bethany looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress and Chris rocked his tuxedo. They were both so nervous until they saw each other during their first look. Chris had the sweetest smile when he turned and saw Bethany in her wedding dress.
Thomas and Christa were married November 4th, 2017 at Grace Church Downtown. Friends and family surrounded them as they promised forever to each other. These two have been together for what seemed forever. They started dating in high school when Thomas was a senior and Christa was a junior. Everyone was thrilled to see them finally tie the knot! Grace Church Downtown is such a beautiful venue. It is a historically protected building in Greenville and was the home of First Baptist Church for many years.
I almost called off my wedding. Seriously, I was very ready to just not have the big wedding and let signing the marriage license be it. It wasn’t because I hadn’t dreamed of my wedding day since I was four…because I had. It wasn’t because I had not had time to look through every bridal magazine or create multiple inspiration boards on Pinterest…because I had. It wasn’t because I wasn’t in love with my fiancé…because I sure as heck was not letting him get away. I almost called off my wedding because I could not find a wedding dress.
Featured on the blog today is Joseph and Corrie. They were married on July 29th, 2017 at First Baptist Church of North, SC. I was excited to shoot this wedding for quite a few reasons: 1. I have known Joseph since college 2. When I saw Corrie’s dress during her bridal session I just could not wait for her to walk down that aisle! 3. Corrie’s mother has quickly become one of my favorite people.
